Emilia Chubb

Emilia is a young, emerging artist. A recent Arts graduate, she uses paint to currently explore a range of ideas and themes, she is an expressionistic painter who captures the world as it goes by on canvas. 

Nosing around in cafes and markets for inspiration, Emilia grasps the spirit of a place using bold, vibrant colours. Her London Cityscapes aim to be delightfully nostalgic and full of character.

“I am fascinated by places and people, the goal of my work is to encapsulate the beauty of time, location, and memory on an aesthetic and emotional level. Drawing from the many stories I hear from viewers who have a connection to these chosen spots, I love to produce colourful paintings that move with the rhythm and rush of the city.”

Emilia's exhibitions include; The Other Art Fair, The Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London (2023 & 2022), Windsor Contemporary Art Fair, Windsor Racecourse, Windsor (2022&2021), and Bath Art Fair (2022) to name a few.

The Other Art Fair in March 2022 was a sell out show for Emilia, where she was named as the ‘Director’s Pick’ on Saatchi Art and listed as ‘One to Watch’. This year in 2023 she has been selected as a semi - finalist in the RBA ‘Rising Stars’ Exhibition at the Mall Galleries.
