The abandoned skateboard on Venice Beach in LA was a wonderful find. Staring at the enormity of the sea when sitting on a beach is a favourite pastime, a moment to contemplate anything and everything. Maybe this skateboarder felt the same way.

The original piece was created using Anil’s own photography, digitally collaged and then giclée printed on Hahnemuhle Daguerre 400 gsm poly-cotton canvas. The canvas is over-painted with acrylic and spray paints, art pencils, Conté pastels and screen-printing.

This large Limited edition print is hand-finished with acrylic paint and conté pastels. Embossed, signed and numbered by the artist. Giclee fine art printed on Hahnemuhle Photo-Rag paper, using archival pigmented inks. Printed with a white border.
